20h30 pickup at the hotel. Transfer to railway station for a night train at 21h30 to Sapa. Overnight on train.

Day 1: Sapa - CatCat ( B)
AM: 7h30 arrive Lao Cai, take a local bus to Sapa. Free for visiting ethnic market, Sapa town.
PM : Trekking to visit Cat cat village, H’mong people and Catcat waterfall lying in a small valley. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.

Day 2 : Lao Chai - TaVan - GiangTa Chai ( B)
All day trekking to visit some minority villages. Lao Chai - TaVan - GiangTaChai. You will meet some different minority people H’mong, Zay, Red Dzao, you can see the different colorful dresses. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.

Day 3 : Sapa - Bac ha - Hanoi ( B)
6h00’’ AM: Take a tour bus going to Bac Ha, after 3 hours on the bus you will arrive BacHa market. free visit market ( BacHa market open on sunday morning only). 12h00’’ short treckk to visit BacHa village. 3pm take the bus going back to railway station for a night train Ratraco to Hanoi depart at 6pm.

Day 4 : Hanoi ( B)
4h30AM arrive Hanoi. End tour.

Tour route: Hanoi – Lao Cai – Sapa – Tan Van - Giang Ta Chay - Ban Ho - Thanh phu – Sapa - Lao Cai – Hanoi
Brief description: Hard trekking, big adventure, private tour, 2 nights on train, 1 hotel night in Sapa town, 2 nights in Ta Van village with Dzay people and Ban Ho village with Tay people.

Detail Itinerary

Night 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai by night train

Impress travel’s staff pick you up in the hotel then drive to Hanoi station for a night train to Sapa (overnight on the train, the cabin with 4 berths, soft sleeper and air-conditioning), you can book the whole cabin or you can share with 2 other persons.

There are several train depart from Hanoi station between 7pm to 10pm, the journey is about 8,5 hours, the end in Lao Cai Station.

Day 1: Laocai - Sa Pa – Cat Cat - Ylinh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van village (B,L,D)

The train arrives in Lao Cai at 6.30 a.m, Our Impress team will welcome you by your name sign. We drive up to Sapa about 50 minutes on Car / Van, you will be taken to a small guesthouse for a morning showers then your breakfast at a local restaurant here. After breakfast & short morning beak, we start trekking frrom Sapa town to Cat Cat village, visit Cat Cat beautiful waterfall and the water power station built by the French in early 20th century.

After a short break, continue trekking on hidden trails leading us to YlinhHo and Lao Chai village of the black H’mong people.
We have a picnic lunch on the trekking route, keeping on alongside Muong Hoa stream, over suspension bridges to Ta Van village of the Dzay people. Visiting and stay overnight with a local family of the Dzay minority in Ta Van , If you are interested in to learn Vietnamese cooking, you will take part in cooking with your tour guide & host. Finally join each other for dinner and get to know local typical traditional customs, culture.

Day 2: Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Su Pan – Ban Ho village ~ 5 - 6 hrs trekking - ( B, L, D)

Get up early in the morning to enjoy the daily life of the ethnic minorities in the village. Breakfast; take the road to GiangTaChai village of the Red Dzao minority via the paths between terraces and through bamboo forests. Visit silver waterfall and suspension Rattan Bridge, visit the people in the village and then cross MuongHoa River up to the mountain to visit the last village of the trek - Supan village of the H'mong, where we will enjoy our lunch here.

After lunch, trek further to enjoy magnificent scenery, visit local house of the red Dzao, visit, talk to learn about the minority pupils of Giang primary school before heading to the main road for a while walk and then trek down to Ban Ho village. An imagination of down tower steps with a universal view of the house roofs of the Tay minority isolated in a green valley appearing in front of your eyes will mark you an unforgettable trip. Dinner and enjoy the second home-stay night with the Tay’s family in Ban Ho.

Day 3: Thanh Phu - Nam Sai – Nam Cang – Nam Toong – Sa Pa ~ 3 – 4 hours trekking ( B, L)

Another new day traveling over and over the scenic mountains and friendly village, breakfast with the Tay people here then we will take about 3 – 4 hours trek to Thanh Phu village and back to Ban Ho at noon for our lunch.

Some walk up to the main road and Car / Van back to Sapa, check in your hotel then you are free to explore and dinner on your own. Sleep in town of Sapa.

Day 4: Sapa – Ham Rong mountain - Lao Cai station (B)

Today you are free at leisure, to visit around the town of Sapa (Dragon mount, Orchid garden, Waterfall…) or relax in town and inhale the fresh air. Leave Sapa by Car or Van in the late afternoon (5.30 p.m.) to Lao Cai station for the night train back to Hanoi.

After 8 hours, you arrive in Hanoi station at 5.30 Am, Impress team will support you to get back your hotel in early morning.
